An accomplished human resources professional with a business-based perspective, Lisa Ryan brings deep expertise in leadership development, change management, and executive coaching. She is currently the Director, Talent Management, Leadership Development & Learning at Ritchie Bros Auctioneers where she is responsible for the overall talent management framework and implementation of all succession planning, talent identification, performance management and leadership development initiatives across the global organization as well as initiatives to align culture, people and business strategies. Lisa’s wealth of business management experience comes from progressive positions held at Right Management, MICA Consulting, Best Buy Canada, BC Gas Utility Ltd, and Royal Bank of Canada.
Since 2011, Lisa has served as the HR Committee Chair for Pearson College,a pre-university school for up to 200 students from over 100 countries who live, study and grow together at the edge of the western world in the belief that education is a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
Lisa earned her MBA specializing in Managing People and Organizations and her undergraduate degree in Economics from UBC. She is a mother of teenage son and pre-teen daughter and wife to a travelling executive so she runs with her dog to stay sane.
