Kristin Bower’s 15 year career in human resources has taken her from luxury hotels to top employment agencies and finally Canada’s largest credit union, Vancity. Over the years she has developed skills in employee engagement & recognition, recruitment and employee relations. Working for a values-based organization where she currently leads the work around Vancity’s diversity and inclusion strategy is a dream come true for Kristin. She also writes a blog about mental health issues called Adventures of a Survivor and often includes posts with an HR perspective. Kristin also volunteers with Partners for Mental Health as a Community Correspondent and advocates for mental health awareness.
