She’s been responsible for implementing projects related to her passions for both affordable housing and mental health promotion on local, regional and provincial levels. Her strengths include community development, systems thinking and transforming strategic vision in to measureable results. As part of Katie’s current portfolio, she has oversight of a suicide prevention training program with ambitious targets of training 20,000 British Columbians to be suicide alert-helpers over the next three years.
