Gabriela Freyenmuth is a Human Resources Manager in the Workplace Wellness and Employee Wellbeing directorate at the Correctional Service Canada (CSC). She began her career with CSC 18 years ago and has held a variety of positions in the operational and corporate fields.
Gabriela’s passion for helping others has steered her to the field of human resources where she has spent close to half of her career working in areas such as employment equity and diversity, official languages, employee recognition and engagement, integrated HR planning, and attendance management. She is currently developing and managing the duty to accommodate program as part of CSC’s disability management program. Her strong belief in people-focused workplaces motivates her in continually shaping a stronger and more effective support structure that focuses on maintaining physically and mentally healthy employees.
Gabriela also has a keen interest in animal welfare and served on the Board of Directors for the Kingston Humane Society for a number of years. She currently volunteers with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization in Kingston.
