Allison Beardsworth is a proud member of Dehcho (Dene) Nation in Hay River, Northwest Territories and has called Coast Salish territory home for the past nine years. She holds a Bachelors in Social Work from Dalhousie University and a Masters in Dispute Resolution from the University of Victoria.
Allison joined the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) in 2012 and after spending the two years as the Transition Manager, she took on the role of Wellness and Culture Specialist in the Human Resources department — a position allowing her to showcase her dedication to Wellness promotion internally to the FNHA. Allison has a passion for fitness and volunteerism and enjoys participating in fitness classes, running races and climbing the Grouse Grind.
