Paul Sullivan is an award winning journalist and communications strategist recognized by the Vancouver Sun as one of the 20 most prominent British Columbians on the Internet.
Prior to establishing BreakThrough Communications, Paul was President and Director of Strategy for Sullivan Media, a communications consultancy specializing in communications strategy and founding Editor-in-chief of Orato.com, the Webby-award winning citizen journalism website.
Paul has a distinguished background in journalism, and was formerly Western Editor of Canada’s national newspaper, the Globe and Mail. He continues to be published in a number of newspapers. He is a judge for both the National Magazine and National Newspaper Awards, and has taught communications and journalism at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University and currently teaches media relations at City University of Seattle, in Vancouver.
Paul believes that the Bottom Line Conference has been a pioneer in workplace mental health. He is committed to showcasing and discussing means of improving mental health in the workplace, and feels fortunate work on a committee alongside dedicated, ethical and empathetic people.
